What is the best way to prepare Slanka shakes?
Slanka products are perfect for preparing in a shaker. Mix the content of one packet with 2.5– 3 dl of water and shake well. A cold milkshake is best served with ice. To prepare a hot shake or soup, use a Slanka shaker without a sieve and warm in a microwave up to 60°C maximum. Consume the shake in 10 minutes. Do not shake a warm shaker, because its cap can pop open from pressure. To give a cold shake thick consistency, use ice and a blender.
How to prepare a soup from Slanka vegetable and chicken powder?
Dissolve Slanka powder in 2.5–3 dl of water, shake without a sieve and warm in a microwave up to 60°C maximum. Wait for a couple of minutes for chicken or vegetable pieces to become soft. Consume the soup in 10 minutes. Do not shake a warm shaker, because its cap can pop open from pressure. For preparing a purée soup, use a blender.
If I have opted for the Slanka Kombi diet, can I eat only 2 packets of Slanka powder and one regular meal a day?
This involves a risk of not getting enough nutrients. We recommend that you eat 3 packets of Slanka powder and one small meal. Thus you will feel better and not so hungry and you will not crave for larger servings. At the same time, your body gets all the necessary vitamins and minerals.
Is there a predetermined time of the day for eating Slanka powders?
Follow your regular eating times. If adhering to the Slanka Maxi diet, it may be a good idea to shift meals to a later time by a couple of hours, because most people feel hungrier in the evening.
What kind of food to eat during the Slanka diet?
When following the Slanka Maxi diet, it would be best to restrict your diet to Slanka powders. When adhering to the Slanka Kombi diet, prefer proteins (meat, chicken, fish) and slow carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are the easiest for the body to processes and burn, and, as such, they are used as the primary energy source. That’s why marathon runners eat pasta before running very long distances. When adding some protein, the body continues to burn fat. For example: if you eat fruit (fast carbohydrates), the body uses first these to produce energy and returns then to fat. Therefore we recommend to add proteins to your diet: a piece of meat, shrimps or an omelette of two eggs.
How many points is one Slanka meal (according to the Weight Watchers system)?
One Slanka shake or soup is 2.8 points. A Slanka chocolate bar is about 4.2 points.
